"The resort was very enjoyable and family-friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return in the future The only drawback was the customer service experience before our arrival. A few days prior to check-in, I called the resort to confirm our reservation details and bedding arrangements. However, I was told they could not assist me because the reservation had been booked through Expedia. I have traveled frequently and have never encountered this issue before, as other hotels have always been willing to verify reservation details regardless of the booking platform. (Booked through Expedia.)"

Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort & Conference Center

"My main complaint about this hotel was that I stayed there for 8 nights and for 5 nights my room was not equipped with a smoke detector/fire alarm. Sunday night the detector started beeping at 1:30 in the morning. I called the desk who said that they would have a maintenance person come to replace the batteries. I had to call again at 2am. They said that they were still looking for someone. Finally at 2:30am someone showed up and removed the entire detector stating that they would replace it later that day. They did not. Tuesday I notified the office that it was still not replaced. They put in a new ticket to have it replaced. Maintenance came and said they would try to have it fixed by the time we left. I called on Thursday and spoke with Luis. He said that he would contact maintenance and didn’t understand why it wasn’t replaced. Never heard back, no visit from anyone. Safety was not a priority for them. Hotel has transportation to Universal all day. Transportation to Disney is a little bit later and not in time for rope drop. Nice pool. Clean grounds. Nice room (except for the smoke detector) great location."

"The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located under 10 min walk from Universal Studios or you can take a water taxi if you don’t want to walk. They have a shuttle bus to the Epic park that is about an 10 minute ride. They have a few options to eat ant the hotel including a sushi bar. Overall, I definitely recommend staying at this hotel."

"The facility was clean and staff mostly helpful. It was raining very hard and we asked one of the staff if we could get to our room from the office without getting to wet. She thought about it and said that some of the areas are not covered so not a good idea. We did it and did not get whet. Right next to the biggest McDonald's in the United States, walking distance. Hotel is very nice for the price."

"Everything very good very nice the hotel a good customer service with a good treatment, as for the cleanliness of those who should clean it every day oh if not at least pass and pick up the garbage and leave clean towels is my opinion but the some are very good with good space and the beds and pillows very good, I felt very safe in the hotel without any misses, as for the very good bar and good drinks the only bad thing is the pool that was very dirty for such a weekend so cozy and so good weather that I did to enjoy it that if they would have to give it good maintenance since their hotel is totally spectacular with the view they have and the hookah service and the show that they play live music more. Your drinks is what I think and very soon I will return again without a doubt and I hope I can enjoy the pool much better. Thank you for your attention.."
